Empowering resilience: navigating challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in Taiwan amidst COVID-19

Lynne Lee, PhD, is Associate Professor of International Business and Trade at the International College of Ming Chuan University (MCU). She also serves as the Vice President for International Affairs, Industry-Academia Affairs and University Extension at MCU. Dr Lee holds a Ph.D. in Information Management from National Taiwan University, a Master's degree in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Finance from New York University. Her research interests include electronic commerce, management and consumer behavior.

Vincent Charles, PhD, PDRF, FRSS, FBCS, SFHEA, FPPBA, MIScT, CMBE, is affiliated with CENTRUM Católica Graduate Business School, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, as a Distinguished Professor. In addition, he holds multiple visiting professorship positions across the Globe. He is an experienced researcher in the fields of AI/ML, (big) data science and OR/MS. He has over 25 years of teaching, research and consultancy experience, having been a full professor and director of research for more than a decade in triple-crown business schools. He is a former Elected Member of the Senate. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at the National University of Singapore and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He has Executive Certificates from the MIT, HBS and IE Business School. He has published over 150 research outputs and is a recipient of many international academic honours and awards. He is an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Accredited Educator, and an Advance HE Certified External Examiner, UK. He serves as Associate Editor and special issue editor for many prestigious journals. With vast experience in organising and running executive and management development programmes, and CPD training programmes for both the industry and the academia, across the Globe. He also has industry experience as a Chief Analytics Officer and has worked on projects in the telecommunications and retail industries.

Beatrice Avolio, PhD, holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the Maastricht School of Management and the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). Beatrice Avolio is currently the Head of the Graduate Academic Department of Business at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Director, Full-time Professor and Researcher at CENTRUM PUCP; Consultant on Diversity and Gender Issues; Founder of the Research Center on Socially Responsible Leadership, Women and Equity, which aims to promote women's skills in different areas of action through the generation of knowledge on women's economic and professional activities.
