Perfusion

This review of observational data found few differences in outcomes of cardiac surgery performed by trainees (under supervision) and by specialists. The authors concluded that trainees were safe to operate under senior supervision. This conclusion appropriately reflects the evidence presented but lack of reporting of where the studies were done makes the applicability of the findings unclear.
