The inverted U-shaped relationship between foreign ownership and green innovation in China

This study aims to investigate the influence of foreign ownership on green innovation ability.

This study uses a regression model to test hypotheses.

The results show that the influence of foreign ownership on the green innovation ability of Chinese firms presents an inverted U-shaped relationship.

The conclusion of this study adds to the literature on the microeconomic consequences of foreign ownership and the influencing factors of firms’ green innovation ability.
