The Baking Industry Exemption Order 1969

The Secretary of State being satisfied that there is in force the agreement mentioned in Article 2 hereof, the parties to which are an organisation representing employers in the baking industry and a trade union representing bakery workers, and that, having regard to the terms of that agreement the Baking Industry (Hours of Work) Act 1954 should not apply in relation to bakery workers to whom that agreement relates, and in exercise of her powers under section 9(1) of the said Act, and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—
