Lena L. Kronemeyer is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in innovation and technology management with the Institute of Project Management and Innovation (IPMI), University of Bremen, Germany, in the field of semantic patent analyses. Her research focuses on semantic patent analysis, competitive analysis, technology foresight and frugal innovation. Her work with the Institute of Project Management and Innovation includes methods of futurology, technology intelligence and technology roadmapping. She received the M.Sc. degree in engineering and management with a focus on system development and innovation management in 2017 from the University of Bremen, Germany.

Herbert Kotzab is a professor and chair of logistics management at the University of Bremen, Germany. He received his Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Management, PhD (1996) and Postdoctoral degree (Habilitation: 2002) from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. Prior to his assignment at Bremen, he held a Professor position at Copenhagen Business School at the Department of Operations Management. His research focuses on supply chain management, service operations and consumer driven value networks. Since 2013, he has been a member of the Editor-in-Chief-Board of Logistics Research.

Martin G. Moehrle is Professor and Chair of Innovation and Competence Transfer at the University of Bremen, while also being the Director of the Institute of Project Management and Innovation (IPMI) since 2001. He received the doctorate degree in business administration from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, in 1990. He was a university lecturer in 1996 on transitional themes between technology management and management information systems with the University of Kaiserslautern. He held the Chair of Planning and Innovation Management with the Brandenburg Technical University of Cottbus, Germany, from 1996 to 2001. His research focuses on technology and innovation management, and his preferred topics are patent management, technology roadmapping, future research, innovation process management and methodical invention (TRIZ).
