Timm Schorsch is a Research Associate at the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Germany. He is also the Head of Product Management Components at DB Cargo Logistics GmbH (a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn), being responsible for the network management and design of automotive transports across Europe. His current research interests include behavioral supply chain management, particularly from the social psychological perspective and with a focus on collaborative planning activities. He graduated from the Linköping University, Sweden and the Technische Universtiät Braunschweig, Germany as an Industrial Engineer. His final thesis was awarded twice (BVL Thesis Award, endowed SeReS Unit Award – Universität Insbruck). He is a frequently invited speaker at both business and research conferences. He has worked on projects in Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Poland, Romania and the UK. He is a member of the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA).

Carl Marcus Wallenburg is a Professor of Supply Chain Management and holds the Kühne-Foundation Chair of Logistics and Service Management of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Germany. His research covers a broad field of logistics and SCM with special focuses on performance management, logistics services and 3PL, different supply chain matters (e.g. risk management and logistics innovation), and how they are influenced by vertical and horizontal relationships in the supply chain. Dr Wallenburg frequently speaks at conferences and company meetings and has published six books, more than ten management studies, including CSCMP’s Global Perspectives on Germany and one Boston Consulting Group Focus Report, and over 100 articles. His work has appeared in various journals including European Journal of Marketing, International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management, Journal of Business Logistics, Journal of Supply Chain Management, Journal of Service Management, and Transportation Journal.

Andreas Wieland is an Associate Professor of Supply Chain Risk Management at the Department of Operations Management, Copenhagen Business School. His current research interests include supply chain resilience and behavioral supply chain management. His articles have appeared in journals such as International Journal of Logistics Management, International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management, Journal of Business Logistics and Supply Chain Management: An International Journal. He is the recipient of several awards, including three awards at the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence (2013, 2014, 2016), the Harry Boer Highly Commended Award (2012) and an Award for Outstanding Achievements in Teaching at the Technical University of Berlin (2014). He was selected as Reviewer of the Year for 2015 for the International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management. He teaches classes in logistics and supply chain management. He is a member of the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA) and the German Academic Association for Business Research (VHB). He is also the Editor of the blog scmresearch.org.
