Croner's Facilities Management: Records & Procedures

Croner CCH Group£199.95Keywords: Information systems, Documents, Facilities management

Many of you will be familiar with Croner "manuals" of this sort– they provide a comprehensive information system backed up with forms and procedures to allow you to implement a complete service – this time in the area of Facilities Management (FM).

The manual is based around a loose-leaf volume and a CD-ROM which include over 50 ready-to-use record-keeping forms to support the information in the loose-leaf format. The forms are, in effect, templates and are customised on first use so that, for example, they will always subsequently include the organisational name and address. The forms are built on your own word processor and thus can be saved, amended and e-mailed.

Coverage is of: financial management; site and buildings; energy and the environment; performance and quality; maintenance; security and fire safety;support services (catering, cleaning, etc.); contractors and suppliers;emergency measures.

Additional (or replacement) pages and a new CD-ROM are issued every six months so that the manual remains up to date, and a monthly "special report"is issued to allow some topics to be covered in more detail or depth. See: www.croner.cch.co.uk
