When the Ministry of Defence required additional living accommodation for up to 200 personnel on joint forces driving courses, Premier Modular Buildings jumped to attention and followed orders to supply quality accommodation in the fastest possible time. As speed was of the essence, a factory-engineered relocatable modular building was chosen - the building (at the Defence School of transport, Leconfield) measures over 2,000 sq.m. and has living accommodation for 200 soldiers. It is fitted out with 50 four-bed sleeping apartments,together with toilets, showers and washing facilities on each floor. There is an internal staircase leading from the large ground floor lobby to the first floor. The exterior was clad in plastic coated galvanised steel designed to complement nearby buildings and designed to withstand the wear and tear of the daily life of 200 soldiers.
