Ericsson Mexico learns well
Corporate Learning's trainer development team has formed a partnership with Ericsson Mexico to run a pilot programme introducing the Certified Technical Trainer (CTT) credential to their regional training department. Alison Ludditt and Wayne Mullen travelled to Mexico City and ran two trainer development courses to prepare a total of 19 Ericsson trainers for the two part CTT exam. Ericsson's training centre in Mexico City is the first of eight around the world to prepare their trainers for the instructor's certification. Ericsson sees the introduction of an international, vendor-neutral certification as a way to promote a better understanding of delivery skill standards amongst trainers. Not only will employees benefit from improved training techniques, but for trainers there is the added job incentive of achieving accreditation which is widely recognised.
