US-based data recovery firm DriveSavers has established the world's first (as far as I know) data crisis counsellor. She (for it is a lady – with a degree in psychology) handles distraught customers calling about lost data before passing them on to an engineer once their mental stress has been reduced to a level at which they can interact more constructively.
