Canon claims to have strengthened its position in the electronic document management market by partnering with TeamWorks to launch ADOS, a document archive and retrieval system – appropriate for organisations that would benefit from capturing and storing the large amount of information held in business documents such as invoices, sales orders, contracts, post and images. ADOS processes, indexes, stores and manages a vast array of scanned documents,electronic documents (for example, Microsoft Office, Acrobat PDF) and computer output (COLD) such as print lists.
