Sell! Sell! Sell!

Selectica, a leading provider of Interactive Selling Solutions (ISS), has received the "What Works: Significant Implementation in CRM, 2003" award from the Aberdeen Group, a Boston-based leading technology research firm. This is the second consecutive year in which Aberdeen has recognised Selectica as a stellar performer based on Selectica's deployment with key customers: Hitachi and Rockwell in 2002 and 2001, respectively. Companies are selected for the award based on a long list of criteria including proven quantifiable business benefits, fast implementation time, and measurable impact on the way that the business interacts with its customers. Selectica's Interactive Selling Solutions(ISS) enable enterprises to reduce costs and enhance revenue from complex product and services offerings by unifying customers' business processes to correctly configure, price, and quote offerings across multiple distribution channels. As a result, Selectica helps improve profitability by reducing process costs, optimising pricing, eliminating rework and concessions, and avoiding high-risk business. Currently, Hitachi uses Selectica's solution to process, configure and track approximately 30,000 accesses for quotes for PC clients, PC servers and UNIX servers each month by sales, business partners and resellers. An additional 30,000 accesses for quotes for PC clients are processed each month through the company's Internetshop.
