Computer controlled distribution of packaged textiles Available to Purchase

Fashionflow is a specialist carrier in textile distribution moving merchandise from manufacturer to retail point. Errors of despatch or receipt made by either side can be costly; this paper (an edited version of that presented at EPoS 81), describes a micro‐computer based Transit Control System which monitors the movement of every package from collection to delivery, produces documentation and maintains despatch records for proof of delivery and management information purposes.
