Dr. Ebenezer Bugri Anarfo is a Senior Lecturer at the GIMPA Business School. Prior to joining GIMPA Business School, he served as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at GIMPA Business School whiles he was a master’s student. He had his PhD in Finance from University of Ghana. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Sociology from University of Ghana in 2006 and Master of Science degree in Business Administration (Finance Option) GIMPA. His research interests are in the areas of FDI, economic growth and development, capital structure, event studies, mergers and acquisition and mental Health. His work on capital Structure studies has be published in reputable journals. He has also worked at the Socio-economic department of Crops Research Institute in Kumasi as research assistant when he was doing his national service and taught at Centre for Business Management and Financial Studies as an Economics tutor. His areas of teaching interest include International Finance, Econometrics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Corporate Finance, Financial Management, and Risk management in financial institutions, managerial Economics and Business Research Methods and Quantitative Methods.

Dr. Godfred Amewu is a Lecturer and Researcher in finance at the GIMPA Business School, where he trains students, public servants, diplomats and NGO workers from across Africa. He is also a Co-ordinator at the GIMPA Centre for Impact Investing (GCII), where he coordinates the affairs of GCII and also provides project support in the areas of investments, performance measurement and development of impact investing research/case studies. Godfred is currently leading the efforts in the development of impact investing as an asset class in Africa, working closely with top institutions in Ghana, Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), and international donor organizations, such as the Rockefeller and Tony Elumelu Foundations. Dr. Amewu is also an associate at several prominent development think-tanks and academic institutions. He provides regular policy advice and consulting services to government departments, bilateral donors, international organizations and large corporations. He has extensive experience, having worked in various educational and finance roles in the UK and Ghana. His research interests are in the areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, risk management, finance, banking, impact investing, emerging economies, corporate social investments and market research. He received his PhD in Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. He also has an MSc in Analytical Finance from the University of St. Andrews (UK) and an Honours degree in Mathematics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana).

Dr. Gloria Clarissa Dzeha is a lecturer in finance and the Acting Dean of Students at the Central University, Ghana. She is an academic and a researcher. She obtained a diploma in statistics in 1998 and a bachelor in business administration- banking and finance option in 2006 from the University of Ghana. She further obtained a master of philosophy in finance in 2009 and a PhD in finance in 2018 all from the University of Ghana Business School. She has taught courses, including Investment Management and Risk, Treasury and Risk Management, Financial Markets and Institutions, International Finance at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr Dzeha’s areas of specialization include Development Financing, Remittances, Foreign Direct Investment, International capital flows, economic growth and development, Investment Banking and Corporate Governance. She has presented several papers at conferences, including the African Review of Economics and Finance at the Wits Business School of the Witwatersrand University in Johannesburg, South Africa July 2018, also at the 7th Annual Global Science and Technology Forum- Accounting and Finance Conference 2017 in Singapore and won the best paper award. She has excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong work ethic and the determination to excel.
