THE British Post Office is co‐operating with the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (N.A.S.A.) in a series of experiments to assess the technical feasibility of long distance communication by artificial earth satellites. Television, telephone, telegraph and other signals are to be transmitted between ground stations in the U.S.A. and the U.K. Satellite Communication Ground Station at Goonhilly Downs, Cornwall.
