Recent DTI report covers investment in Britain by Japanese automotive component manufacturers

Keywords Automotive,DTI

This report outlines the findings of a study commissioned by the DTI, the purpose of which was to provide an evaluation of Japanese automotive component companies' operations in Britain to gain a deeper understanding of their perception of the investment climate together with an insight into the current and potential future European investment strategies of these companies. From this, a number of recommendations for the future promotion of Britain as a location for inward investment by automotive component companies were drawn. These are bound to have wider implications for other industry sectors.
