VAPOUR BLAST and its effect upon lubrication

The surface finish obtained by vapour blasting is effected by acceleration of particles of mineral abrasive in aqueous suspension, the accelerating medium being compressed air. Its use for surface finishing are many and varied. We are only concerned here with its beneficial effects upon lubrication of bearing surfaces.
