With all moving parts operating in an oil‐filled cylinder so that no additional problems of lubrication present themselves, an entirely new type of hydraulically operated hatch cover, with the hydraulic equipment directly connected to the hinges for the hatch cover, has been installed on the Norwegian cargo liner M.S. Gudrun Bakke of 10,500 tons d.w.
