ONE OF THE PBOBLEMS associated with high‐speed grinding operations is the oil mist created, which if uncontrolled, can spread into the shop air, menacing workers' health, lowering efficiency and resulting in a number of other ancillary problems. As much as ten gallons of coolant oil, in the form of mist, can be injected into the air every shift by a single high‐speed grinder.
