A CONTRIBUTION in our April issue covered the history, properties and uses of bearings made by powder metallurgy. The importance of self lubricating bearings in modern industry, particularly in connection with mass production methods, has aroused increasing interest in this subject and we are therefore giving in this article further details concerning the practical applications of oil retaining bearings.
