Vauxhall Motors' Proving Ground Available to Purchase

VAUXHALL Motors have constructed a 700‐acre proving ground in Bedfordshire, 18 miles from their Luton factory. Whilst mainly to be devoted to the mechanical testing of commercial and private vehicles, such a proving ground, with facilities for high speed testing in addition to many other test facilities, will enable tests to be made on engine lubricating oils simulating actual service use, and we have no doubt that when such tests are needed, Vauxhall Motors will be able to carry them through.
