Application of CUTTING FLUIDS to MACHINING OPERATIONS

The results of shop investigations on the development and use of improved methods of applying cutting fluids were given in a paper by R. B. Miebusch and E. H. Strieder, of the Cincinnati Milling Machine Co., presented to The American Society of Mechanical Engineers at New York at the end of last year. The paper was co‐sponsored by the Research Committee on Cutting Fluids and Production Engineering Division, and we give a shortened version of it here.
