RESULTING from trials at Longbridge and Cowley, an innovative type of centralised lubrication for the compressed air lines in the assembly of the new Rover 200 Series has been adopted. Equipment entails use of a limited number of large differential pressure lubricators at selected points in the plant, instead of the more numerous individual filter/regulator/lubricator sets for each tool.
