In a paper presented recently to the SAE National Tractor Meeting, at Milwaukee, E. S. Dahl and K. H. Rhodes, both of the Massey‐Harris Company, included some interesting facts concerning the effect of leaks in an induction system. To illustrate their point they told the story of an incident that happened during field testing with a test engine that was not set up for the purpose of determining the effects of induction system leaks.
