This journal has always been interested in centralised chassis lubrication for motor cars, and has frequently drawn attention to the out‐dated methods of grease gun lubrication fitted to almost every make of car, all over the world. The notable exceptions are Rolls Royce, Bentley, Daimler, and Bristol, but even these systems differ from the chassis lubricators fitted, so successfully, to commercial vehicles. The latter have given excellent service to many leading public and commercial vehicle undertakings who have fitted them as an extra for very many years. It is in fact, surprising to us that some, if not all, makers of commercial motor vehicles, do not fit these units as standard.
