The DO‐IT‐YOURSELF CULT IS STEADILY GAINING GROUND. The homeward trek in the evening is now enlivened by such sights as a man with a six foot by four foot sheet of plywood attempting to board a bus in a high wind, or a company executive sneaking out to his car with a long‐handled whitewash brush, four tins of paint and a roll of linoleum under his coat, hoping to conceal them from the eyes of his staff.
