Dr Andrew Swift has moved from CSMA to lead business development and consultancy at ITS Sunbury. This new laboratory was acquired by ITS from BP in June last year and is a world leading centre of expertise for the solution of industrial problems.

ITS Sunbury has over 100 years of accumulated expertise in all aspects of analytical chemistry for the oil and petrochemical sector, for example, both in crude oil assay analysis work as well as for resolution of the most challenging of refinery process problems or plant shut-down crises.

The establishment of ITS Sunbury now enables industries across all sectors to tap into this expertise for rapid and cost-effective solutions to chemicals and materials analysis problems. All levels of on-site consultancy support or transactional analysis and testing are carried out.

Acquisition of this laboratory is a part of the ITS strategic growth initiative of expert facilities via outsourcing which offers industry local access to leading edge expertise and analytical support on an as needs basis with substantial overhead cost savings.
