After the warning by Lord Cockfield, Minister of State at the Treasury, that the Chancellor did not have much room to manoeuvre to this year's Budget, the measures announced by Sir Geoffrey Howe in his speech on 26th March were welcomed by the Chairman of the AIB's Taxation Committee.
