The Channel Tunnel Green Paper published on March 21 served merely to confirm what was already known to readers of Industrial Management. In our last issue, published on March 7, we reported that the Department of the Environment was pushing ahead with plans on the assumption that the tunnel would be built—despite the fact that much preliminary work had still to be completed between Britain and France.
