We reveal some of the findings of a national survey — to be published soon by NEDO — into skilled job losses in the engineering industry. They make disturbing reading at a time when the UK economy is poised for recovery, although some companies are making strenuous efforts to hold on to production workers — at the expense of white collar staff.
