This paper studies the non-linear dynamic behaviour of the steel–concrete composite, curved box beam by using the finite-element method. A three-dimensional finite-element model has been developed to obtain natural frequencies and mode shapes. A parametric study was also conducted to evaluate dynamic behaviour of composite, curved box beams. The results indicate that the frequencies of the composite box beam decreases slightly with an increase in the stud spacing (pitch of shear connector), but the frequencies and mode shapes change significantly when the stud spacing exceeds the double stud spacing (two times the pitch of the full shear connection). This tendency is particularly obvious in the extend mode shapes.
