A PERMANENT BINDING RECORD FOR PERIODICALS

The preparation of periodicals for binding, and the making of the necessary records, takes a great deal of time. The Periodicals Department of the University of London Library (which sends more than 2,000 volumes of periodicals to be bound every year) felt that this time could be greatly reduced if a permanent binding record were made for each periodical which was regularly bound.
