Trees of dams: life cycle management

On well-managed reservoirs, no trees are allowed to become established on embankments. In reality, there are many cases where trees become established and allowed to mature even though it is not ideal. This paper is intended as a discussion item to raise the issue of trees on dams and discuss the various management options.
