BDS conference – report on conference tours Available to Purchase

This paper is an account of the 19th Biennial BDS Conference 2016, Site Tour 4. The BDS delegates visited three United Utilities Reservoirs in Lancashire, Clowbridge, Holden Wood and Ogden Haslingden. At Clowbridge, works to upgrade the overflow are currently underway, while at Holden Wood and Ogden Haslingden, works were carried out in 2012–2013 to increase flood discharge capacity.
