Hydro 2016 – Montreux: a report Available to Purchase

The 21st meeting of the Hydro programme – Hydro 2016 was held in Montreux, Switzerland, between 10 and 12 October 2016. More than 1300 delegates from more than 80 countries gathered on the shores of Lac Léman. Switzerland is a fitting place for the conference with the early Swiss Hydro schemes built in 1880 with a peak of construction witnessed in 1950s and 1960s. Hydro now contributes to 60% of the country's power.
