This paper has been collated from feedback given by the interview panels that sit as part of the reservoir committee. It has been produced to provide further guidance to applicants and to clarify some of the myths associated with the extent of experience and academic qualification required and the application process. The committee has also provided feedback on some of the common failings in applications and interviews, to enable future applicants to prepare better for the application process.
