Biesta M, Mann R and Judge T (2022) Ice Loading at Scottish Water's reservoir. Dams and Reservoirs 32(4):140–148, https://doi.org/10.1680/jdare.22.00092
The authors have identified an inconsistency in the paper on ice loading. The thermal forces listed in Table 1 of the paper do not match those in Table 2.

Two extreme value distributions were used in the study for comparison: the generalised pareto (GP) distribution and the generalised logistic (GL) distribution. The paper should have only included the GL distribution that was ultimately used for stability analyses, however the thermal force in Table 1 was derived using the GP distribution. These forces therefore do not match those in Table 2, which were derived using the GL distribution. A corrected version of Table 1 is shown below, meaning that the entire paper now covers only data based on the GL distribution.
The conclusions of the paper remain unchanged.
