ICOLD 2023, Gothenburg, Sweden: operational safety of dams and reservoirs

This briefing note summarises the presentations given at Technical Workshop 4 held at the International Commission on Large Dams 2023 conference. The workshop was titled ‘Operational safety of dams and reservoirs’ and identified the need for systems thinking and systems engineering approaches in the management and analysis of the operational safety of dams and reservoirs.
