Based on the research question, “Does digital transformation in people management processes affect the organizational structure of companies?”, the central aim of this study is to investigate how digital transformation in people management processes influences the organizational structure of companies.
Utilizing the methodology of Zupic and Čater (2015), this study conducts a systematic literature review. This approach allows for tracing intellectual developments, identifying key contributors and mapping conceptual frameworks within the realm of digital transformation in the workplace, resulting in a comprehensive overview of the topic.
The research reveals key trends in the literature on digital transformation and personnel management, pinpointing influential researchers and outlining the field’s intellectual structure. It also maps the evolution of concepts, providing insights into their interrelationships and the broader impact on organizational dynamics.
This study presents a novel examination of the intersection between digital transformation and personnel management, addressing a significant gap in the literature. By systematically linking various topics, it serves as an important resource for researchers and practitioners, enhancing understanding of how digital changes shape organizational practices.
