The final issue of Emerging Materials Research for 2021 is ready for publication. As we already published a large number of papers in the previous issue, in the December issue we have had to keep number of papers small. Thus, we have only seven papers for our readers. All papers will provide a significant contribution to the field of materials research.

I extend my gratitude to the authors, reviewers, related members of the Editorial Board and Editorial staff for their contributions and making the publication of this issue possible.
