Utilizing polymer materials in order to improve the performance of road structures is based on two factors, decreasing deformation and increasing bearing capacity. The purpose of this research work is to find a relationship between the loading of the geogrid, the thickness of the aggregate layer and its bearing capacity. In this research study, according to the results obtained from soil mechanics laboratory, it will be demonstrated that, by utilizing geogrids, the probability of rutting occurrence decreases by 30% and the bearing capacity of soil increases by 40% approximately.
