This study examines the important role of digital transformation in advancing sustainability within Vietnam’s construction industry, focusing on the perspectives of key stakeholder groups, including clients, contractors, and consultants. It aims to identify and assess the 15 main benefits of this transformation. Utilising data collected from 248 construction professionals across these groups, this study employed a rigorous methodological framework encompassing reliability analysis, analysis of variance, Tukey’s post-hoc tests, and the relative importance index method to evaluate and rank the perceived significance of these benefits. The results reveal statistically significant differences in how stakeholders perceive the value of specific digital transformation benefits. Furthermore, the findings indicate the most critical benefits, including ‘enhanced project control and real-time monitoring’, ‘streamlined communication and seamless collaboration’, and ‘optimised productivity and resource efficiency’. Theoretically, this study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by providing a comparative analysis of stakeholder perspectives on the intersection of digital transformation and sustainable construction practices, thereby enriching the scholarly discourse. Practically, it offers a valuable resource for industry stakeholders in Vietnam and similar contexts, facilitating informed decision making and promoting the adoption of emerging technologies to build a more sustainable and technologically sophisticated construction industry.
