Tatjana Štaube is an Assistant Professor at Riga Technical University. Research interests: commercial real estate, feasibility studies, financial analysis, market research, spatial economic allocation, strategic business development planning and sustainable development. Within over 10 years of professional experience, she worked with Colliers International, Rimi Latvia and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of Latvia. Tatjana Štaube is an author of 33 scientific publications. Since 2009, she participated in more than 20 scientific conferences, congresses and workshops, as well as five international scientific and practical projects. Mrs Staube is an expert in management and economic sciences of the Latvian Council of Science.

Benno Leemeijer, drs. Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Spatial Sciences, University of Groningen, the Netherlands. Work experience: started his career at the Law Faculty of the University of Groningen; Royal Ahold, where Mr. Leemeijer worked 20 years: first as researcher, later as acquisition and team manager for new stores in the Netherlands; worked internationally as Director Real Estate Europe for Ahold in Central Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and the Baltic States); Managing Director Sites & Vision BV, focusing on real estate acquisition and developments in Central Europe. Group Commercial Director of the Acteeum Group, active in Central & Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Currently partner in Glint Real Estate, active in the Netherlands and Belgium, focusing on retail and logistic real estate. In the past Mr. Leemeijer also has given a number of lectures at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands.

Sanda Geipele is an Assistant Professor and Researcher at Riga Technical University, Latvia. Within over five years, she worked as a Chief Economist in Riga City Council’s Municipal Revenue Department, and her work was related with real estate tax administration. Research interests: sustainability development problems of real estate market, construction industry, including land use management and institutional economics. She is an author and co-author of 32 scientific publications. Since 2010, she has participated in more than 16 scientific conferences and 5 international scientific and practical projects. Sanda Geipele is an expert in management and economics sciences of the Latvian Council of Science.

Linda Kauškale is a PhD Student and Lecturer at Riga Technical University. Linda obtained with distinction professional master’s degree in civil construction and real estate management and qualification of real estate economist. Linda is now the Head of the International Real Estate Department at Ltd. “AVA HOLDING”. Linda also has participated in international scientific conferences: IEOM2015 in Dubai, UAE, ICEE-2014; MBMST-2013, Vilnius, Lithuania, etc. Research focus: influence of real estate market cycle and economic cycle on development, interaction of socio-economic factors on entrepreneurship on real estate market and construction branch, etc. Linda is also Year 2014 – RTU Gold Fund graduate and Fall 2013 – FIABCI (International Real Estate Federation) grantee.

Ineta Geipele is the Professor at Riga Technical University, Latvia. She is also the Director of the Institute of the Civil Engineering and Real Estate Economics. Her professional skills are improved in Austria, Germany, Denmark and England. She is an author and co-author of more than 284 publications. Research interests: sustainability development problems of real estate market, construction industry, including land use management and institutional economics. She is an expert in management and economics sciences of the Latvian Council of Science; a member of board of the FIABCI-Baltic Multinational Chapter, a member of the Latvian Union of Civil Engineers, etc.

Jeroen Jansen [MSc, MSRE, MRICS] studied urban planning at the University of Amsterdam and obtained his MSc in 1994. He then worked for Dutch leading retailer Ahold, where he was responsible for real estate research in the Netherlands and developing those disciplines in both the Czech Republic and Poland. In 2004, Mr Jansen joined Dutch residential investor Vesteda as senior researcher, where he was responsible for feasibility analyses and strategic research. Since 2008, Jeroen Jansen is Head of Research and Consultancy in the Netherlands for the international real estate consultant Savills. In 2008, Mr Jansen received diploma of MSRE (Master of Studies in Real Estate) from the Amsterdam School of Real Estate and he became member of the RICS in 2013. He has given guest lectures at the Vrije Universiteit at Amsterdam, The Hanzehogeschool in Groningen and the Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
