An analysis of a novel bond-slip model for geocell reinforcement in cohesionless soils was established in terms of bond stresses and displacements to evaluate the behaviour of geocell-reinforced soil structures. In this study, the bond-slip behaviour of geocell-reinforced cohesionless soils under different normal and interfacial shear stresses was investigated using a total of 55 pull-out tests on geocell reinforcements of different size and stiffness. The results obtained for load–displacement behaviour of the 55 pull-out tests on the geocell reinforcements in cohesionless soil were converted to bond stress–displacement graphs. Overall, it was found that the bond stress–displacement parameters depend significantly on the size and stiffness of the geocell reinforcement and the applied vertical stress.
