Load Test on a Deep Circular Footing on Clay Available to Purchase

The ultimate bearing capacity of a circular foundation pier with enlarged base was determined by test loading to failure. The footing bears on a stratum of soft to medium blue-grey silty clay. Results of laboratory investigations are summarized, together with results of the load test.
