Dr Premaratne Samaranayake is a Senior Lecturer at the Western Sydney University. He has around 25 years of teaching and research experience and has published a number of papers in international journals such as International Journal of Production Research, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, and European Journal of Operational Research. His areas of expertise include supply chain management, business process management, and enterprise resource planning. He is currently engaged in research collaboration with industry and has successfully completed a number of research projects in recent times.

Dr Ann Dadich is a Senior Lecturer within the Western Sydney University, School of Business; she is also a Registered Psychologist and a Full-Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Following undergraduate training, she entered the government and not-for-profit sectors to work with different populations within the community. These experiences continue to inform her approach to conducting research that is both empirical and respectful. Dr Dadich has since accumulated considerable research experience in health services management, with a particular focus on knowledge translation. This is demonstrated by: her publishing record, which includes over 100 refereed journal articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings; the awards she has received to date; and the research grants she has secured. Dr Dadich holds editorial appointments with: the Australasian Medical Journal, the Austin Journal of Nursing & Health Care, the International Journal of Healthcare, the Journal of General Practice, and the Journal of Applied Youth Studies.

Anneke Fitzgerald is a Professor of Health Management at the Griffith Business School, Griffith University, Gold Coast Campus. Prior to joining academe in 2002, Anneke worked 20+ years in the health industry in clinical and managerial positions at different levels. Since becoming an academic, Anneke completed a PhD in Commerce and worked full time in mainly administrative and research positions, and teaching business research skills. Specialising in organisational behaviour and health service management, she has significant experience in leading projects involving both technical and clinical stakeholders using various methodologies and involving complex organisational cultures. She has secured more than $26 million in research grants, produced over 100 peer reviewed journal and conference publications and completed 15 higher degree by research students. She is a Fellow of the Australasian College for Health Service Managers (ACHSM).

Dr Kathryn Zeitz is the Executive Director, Mental Health Directorate for the Central Adelaide Local Health Network. Kathryn is a Registered Nurse with a diverse career in acute hospital operational management. Kathryn led the Patient Pathways programme for the Royal Adelaide Hospital before becoming the Executive Director, Culture and Consumer Experience, Central Adelaide Local Health Network leading organisational development, service improvement programmes and linking this to consumer support and feedback in pursuit of Central Adelaide’s goal of becoming patient centred in our delivery of services. Kathryn completed her PhD Thesis in Clinical Nursing at the University of Adelaide in February 2003. With over 40 peer reviewed publications her research profile includes mass gathering medicine (co-investigator on a current ARC grant), acute hospital capacity management and patient-centred care. She is both an Adjunct Associate Professor with the Flinders University and a Clinical Associate Professor for The University of Adelaide.
