Expression of concern: Enhance domestic tourists’ revisit intention in spiritual destinations originating in patriotism and religious orientation

The publisher of the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Insights is issuing an expression of concern for the following article by Bang Nguyen-Viet, Phuc Nguyen My and Thac Dang-Van, Enhance domestic tourists’ revisit intention in spiritual destinations originating in patriotism and religious orientation, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Insights 2025, https://doi.org/10.1108/JHTI-09-2024-0905. It has come to our attention that there are errors with the data reported in Tables 1 and 3. As part of the investigation, the authors were requested to provide a copy of the original, unedited, raw dataset in a suitable format so that the editorial team could verify the findings. The authors cooperated with this investigation but were unable to provide the complete dataset with the demographic variables for the second study covered in the article. While the editorial team was unable to replicate and verify all of the authors’ results, these issues do not affect the article’s overall findings, theoretical contributions or conclusions. As a result of these concerns and as trust in the content is central to the integrity of the publication process, the publisher has, however, taken the decision to publish an expression of concern.
