In the context of an Islamic country and the value-driven nature of the organization under investigation, this study aims to explore the impact of Islamic spirituality at work on employees’ work engagement, with mindfulness serving as a mediating factor.
This study used a survey-analytical method. Data were analyzed using AMOS software, which is well suited for structural equation modeling. The focus of the study is on the honorary staff of the Razavi Holy Shrine.
The findings indicate that enhancing Islamic spirituality in the workplace significantly boosts work engagement. Additionally, it fosters employee mindfulness, which subsequently enhances work engagement. Therefore, this study confirms the indirect effect of Islamic spirituality on work engagement through the mediation of mindfulness.
