Dr Olayinka David-West is an Information Systems’ (IS) Professional with over two decades experience in the Nigerian IT industry. With a passion for the effective use of IT in business, Dr David-West not only makes IT understandable, but assists organizations seeking business value from information and related technologies through systematic decision-making and managerial processes. She is currently a Senior Fellow in the Operations, Information Systems and Marketing Division of Lagos Business School. She is also the Academic Director at the Lagos Business School and Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of the Pan-Atlantic University, respectively. Dr David-West holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Manchester Business School; an MSc Degree in Business Systems Analysis and Design from City University, London; and a BSc Degree in Computer Science from the University of Lagos. In her doctoral thesis, Dr David-West investigated the performance of electronic banking systems that resulted in the development of EBQUAL, a scale to measure consumer perceptions of electronic banking quality. Her research interests are centered on the managerial practices in support of information systems in business including, but not limited to systems planning, development, management, governance and effective use. Dr David-West has authored numerous academic papers and case studies with numerous research presentations in local and international conferences. She combines her teaching and research interests with industry consulting engagements in the areas of strategic IS planning, IT personnel selection, IT assessment and review/due diligence, e-business, business planning, software selection and management, systems implementation, project and change management, business process improvement and systems design. Her research interests include information systems in organizations, performance of e-business, electronic service quality and IT governance.

Immanuel Ovemeso Umukoro is a Researcher at the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, Nigeria and also a Doctoral Student in Information Systems at the Africa Regional Centre for Information Science (ARCIS), University of Ibadan, Nigeria where he obtained a Master of Information Science Degree. He has an early teaching career focusing on curriculum design and implementation, continuous assessment, instructional design, educational technology and classroom management. His research focuses on digital financial services, financial inclusion, technology adoption and use, digital platforms and the sharing economy, innovation and technology transfer studies, business intelligence and analytics, business information systems, process management, consumer studies, development information systems, ergonomics and man-machine interaction, and management information. He is a certified Digital Money Expert by the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. He also holds a certificate in Research and Grant Proposal Development from the INASP|AuthorAID Foundation and an Associate of the Centre for Global Enterprise (CGE) where he assists in teaching Platform Management, Strategy and Innovation.

Raymond Onuoha is an MSA Researcher at the Lagos Business School with research experience in digital platforms and the sharing economy. Prior to joining the Lagos Business School, worked in the banking sector and consulted in the Nigerian oil and gas industry. Raymond holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri and Master’s Degree in Geophysics from thr Center of Excellence for Geosciences and Petroleum Engineering, University of Benin, both in Nigeria. He is also an Associate of the Centre for Global Enterprise (CGE).
