Evidence‐Based Care: Developing the Discussion

The aim of this article is to take forward the helpful discussion of ‘What works in community care’ offered by Janet Lewis (2001). Her focus was on ‘evidence‐based approaches to practice’. Mine here is on trying to work out how to take forward her proposals for social care practice specifically, and social policy practice more generally.
